Accessibility notice generator
Create the accessible formats notice and feedback process wording Manitoba’s Standard asks organizations to provide, ready to paste on your website.
Your wording
Review it, adjust anything that does not match how you work, then paste it on your website, usually on a page linked from the footer called “Accessibility”.
What this wording covers
Man. Reg. 47/2022 asks organizations to let the public know that information is available in accessible formats and with communication supports on request (s. 5 (opens in a new tab)), and to have a process for receiving and responding to feedback about accessibility (s. 9 (opens in a new tab)). This tool produces a starting point for both. It does not make a website accessible: the website itself must still meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA (s. 7(1) (opens in a new tab)). Only promise what you will actually do. Read The two non-website duties most small businesses miss for more.
