Four questions to see whether Manitoba’s Accessible Information and Communication Standard likely covers your organization’s website.
How this result is worked out
The Accessible Information and Communication Standard Regulation, Man. Reg. 47/2022, has applied to organizations with one or more employees in Manitoba since May 1, 2025 (s. 2(c) (opens in a new tab)). Web content must meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA if it was published on or after that date, or if it is needed to access the organization’s goods or services (s. 7(1) (opens in a new tab)). Organizations with 50 or more employees have extra documentation duties (s. 3(2) (opens in a new tab) and s. 4(4) (opens in a new tab)). Read Who must comply for the details and edge cases.
